Welcome to the recently updated version of the Ohio Avalanches website. We hope that the new changes will allow for easier navigation of the site. We have implemented a new photo gallery section, an updated forum, a revised Private Message System, a Document and File Repository, and have provided the ability to for our members to add their vehicle to the front page.

While we have tried to address all functions of the old site there have been a few casualties.

• All of the file attachments from the old forums were not able to be moved over. We have left the old forums in a read only state if anyone wishes to update the new forum with the old attachments. This process involves downloading the old attachments and inserting them into the same posts on the new forum. If no one is interested in this, just let us know so we can remove the old forums.
• Some of the profile fields were not able to be migrated to the new software. You can input that information into the signature section or your user account if you wish.

As you can see, there were not too many casualties.

The new site software gives us the ability to provide more options in the future if the members are willing to make a concerted effort to promote, visit, and utilize the site to it's fullest potential.

One of the most exciting features is the ability for members to submit a showcase article to highlight themselves and their Avalanche to be posted to the site. This article would be displayed on the front page for a while and then moved to the members rides section of the site for permanent viewing.

To submit your Avalanche, you will need to send us a formatted document detailing your history with the vehicle, your information that you would like included, any mods that you have done, details of the vehicle and any pictures you would like included with the article. If you already have pictures somewhere on the site or another internet site, please let us know or send us the link to the other site.

We are currently working on an online form to facilitate this procedure in the future.
